When one season ends, another begins. Join us as we celebrate the end of the growing season with our 2nd annual Herbal Harvest Fair. Proceeds from this fund-raiser will help support educational projects, including our Teaching Herb Garden at MHS Elm Bank.

Join us in the Hunnewell Building and "shop til' you drop" in the Herbal Marketplace. This one-day EVENT features handcrafted items, ornaments, wreaths, bath and beauty products, dream pillows, sachets and potpourri. Get some early Christmas shopping done! We'll have dried flowers and culinary herbs for sale, a used book table with gardening books and cookbooks, indoor herb plants and Allium bulbs. Be sure to hit the bake table early! (This was a sellout last year!) Our herbal pantry will feature jams, jellies, chutneys, flavored mustards, and more!  We accept cash or check (no credit cards).

Kids and kids-at-heart are invited to join MHS for its 4th annual Jack-O'-Lantern Festival, which also takes place in the Hunnewell Building. Celebrate the American tradition of the Jack-O'-Lantern by bringing your creations to be illuminated and displayed for all to see and enjoy. Storytelling, children's crafts and Halloween-inspired activities will also be available. The pumpkins will be on display in the white tent. Be sure to visit 'Herbdottir' (Herb Society member Norma Weinberg) for some hands-on herbal magic, Magical Herbs for All Hallows Eve, and make a 'conjure' bag to take home.
